Look out cancer, here come the cowboys!
Join fellow cowboys across the country in our fiercest battle yet – eliminating cancer. The Cowboy Cancer Crusade brings the American Cancer Society together with West Quest to increase the importance of early detection and prevention of cancer, raise funds to battle cancer; and foster a nationwide commitment to eradicate cancer. Dr. Chick Bishop, president of West Quest, notes that skin cancer and tobacco use are too prevalent within the family of cowboys. "Cowboys have always braved new frontiers," Dr. Bishop said. "With Cowboy Cancer Crusade, we’re blazing a trail that could end cancer for good."
Crusade volunteers represent the American Cancer Society at western events across the country, spreading the word and raising funds. To become a part of the Cowboy Cancer Crusade, contact Donna Scoggins at (404)329-7960 or donna.scoggins@cancer.org. Add your voice to the fight against cancer and help save lives!
